How It Works For Business Owners

Answers to the most common questions we hear about our service

  • How much money does the average business receive?

Our typical client receives over $90,000.

While this is dependent on the information provided about your business, usually we are able to find significant sums of money that have yet to be claimed. In a few cases we haven't been able to find any qualifying grants, and in a few we've found close to seven figure amounts.

After filling out our short application, we'll be able to give you a better idea of how much money we believe is available to your business. To find out how much your business can receive, answer a few questions here.

One program that has provided benefits to our clients is the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. This authorizes up to $26,000 in refunds per employee. The actual amount a business is entitled to varies based off numerous factors, but, with our experience, we can ensure that businesses get their full refund.

  • How much does this cost?

100% free unless we can find you money from the government.

As an added advantage, after we do the work, we always defer the due date of our invoice to allow for your funds to be received.

Our fee for finding and preparing the applications is 20%. For example, if Unclaimed Credits is able to get $90K, this would be split with $72K going to your business and $18K for our services.

While we recognise our fee can be a significant amount to pay, this allows Unclaimed Credits to have experienced people put in the time to apply for grants the right way, and experience matters.

When applications are submitted with less experienced people:

    • Grant applications often get FAR less money for a business than is available
    • Grant applications can be filled out incorrectly, opening a business to a potential audit

  • Won't my tax accountant/payroll service handle this?

Unlikely. Applying for grants is a specialty that is different than the typical, valuable services they provide.

The complexity of the government grant/COVID relief programs is significant. Since applying correctly is difficult, tax accountants we’ve talked to say they are focused on income taxes and "they'll figure this out later". With the time limitations on many of these grants, this means that waiting for these services likely means you'll never see the money that is available.

  • How much information will I need to provide?

We try to make this process as efficient as possible, so what is asked depends on your answers to earlier questions. We only ask for the information that is required for the grants for which your business qualifies.

Providing the information can be handled with online forms or by talking with one of our associates and typically takes less than 20 minutes. Click here to get started.

  • How long will it take before I get a check?

Sometimes the government moves slowly in processing credit requests. We've seen cases where it has taken as long on six months before businesses received their cash. On the flip side, we've seen people get checks in as little as 45 days.

  • I have already received PPP money. Are there other programs available?

Yes, there are lots of ways the government is supporting businesses. Having received PPP money only makes it more likely that additional funds are available.

  • Will any of the money come as loans that the business will have to pay back?

No, Unclaimed Credits only applies for government programs where money is awarded free and clear to businesses.

  • How is my privacy protected?

We know the details of your business are private. We never share that information with any outside companies. We ask for the information because it is required for us to determine which programs your business qualifies for, and allows us to submit the forms to the government to make sure you get your cash. You can check out our full privacy policy here.

  • Will I know what programs my business has applied for?

Yes, after we see what programs your business qualifies for, we will let you know and have you authorize us before we send in your paperwork.

  • Why do you have an affiliate program?

Yes, affiliates allow us to quickly spread the word about our services. We want to make sure that happy clients can become affiliates and let their fellow business owners know about Unclaimed Credits' service.

Affiliates are the main way that businesses find out about Unclaimed Credits and the valuable services that we provide. This is why we make sure that affiliates can make significant amounts in commissions.

  • This sounds too good to be true. What's the catch?

We strive to offer tremendous value, but there are issues we can't get around.

    • You'll have to spend some time giving us information.
    • You need to feel comfortable that we are a legitimate business that won't misuse your information. (See Privacy Policy for more details.)
    • It can take some time to get your money. We've seen cases where it has taken as long as 6 months.
    • Once you get your money, you are going to get a bill from us. (While we love to help people, we need to pay our bills too).
